Walkways and steps are small pours that get walked on more than anything else on the property, and a raised edge or a sunken section is a trip waiting to happen. We pour new front walks and side paths, replace broken or heaved sidewalk sections, and form porch steps and stoops with consistent rise and run so they feel right underfoot.

For walkways we cut to grade, compact a base, form the run with the slope you need for drainage, and pour with a broom finish for grip. Steps get formed to a consistent riser height and a solid landing, reinforced, and finished with a clean nosing. If a section of existing sidewalk has lifted from tree roots or settled from washout, we will tell you whether it can be cut and re-poured on its own or whether the run needs to be redone.
